在正在举行的全球最大的德国汉诺威CeBIT展会上，ESET公司展出了其最新的“ESET Smart Security Suite”安全套装，并宣布将于2007年4月2日进行全球公测。
ESET Smart Security Suite集成了反病毒（Antivirus）、反间谍软件（Anti-Spyware）、反垃圾邮件（Anti-spam）及个人防火墙等组件，各功能组件相互贯通、协同工作，进一步提高了防护效率。同时，新产品依然保持了ESET的一贯传统，在资源占用方面表现非常出色，绝不会拖慢系统的反应速度。
该套装中的反病毒组件即大家期待已久的NOD32 3.0，除了集成在ESET Smart Security套装中之外，它也将会发布单独版本。
ESS与NOD32功能对比!
ESS:有实时文件系统防护,邮件防护,网络访问防护,个人防火墙,反垃圾邮件模块;
NOD32:有实时文件系统防护,文档防护,邮件防护,网络访问防护.
ESS:扫描方式有两种,一种是自动清除,另一种是定制扫描;
NOD32:扫描方式有三种,一种是只扫描等下手动清除,一种是扫描并清除,一种是定制扫描(还分有标准和深入分析).
ESS:病毒库和NOD32一样,但是组件有些不一样,所以升级文件的大小也不相同,升级有时不是很稳定,大多数要升级中断(不知是不是个人问题)速度还可以,而且是开机好就马上升级;
NOD32:升级成功率大于ESS,速度也很不错,可以添加中国服务器,多个服务器可升级.
ESS:设置比较麻烦,因为多了一些功能,也就不能傻瓜化了;
NOD32:相对ESS设置会简单一点,对于高手来说就是很简单.
ESS:工具有日记文件,隔离区,计划任务;
NOD32:同上.
对比之下,ESS还是有缺陷的,虽然比NOD32多了不少功能,但是还没做到最佳ESS,希望ESET公司能做得更好,期待ing......

这只是我用EES所出的结论,建议大家等正式版出了在用:
(1)进程两个,占用内存30左右;
(2)因为有防火墙,所以要占一些CPU,占用大概2%,不算很多;
(3)还没有右键功能,要扫描某个文件比较麻烦;
(4)用鼠标指尖指向右下脚的监控图标没有提示什么;
(5)开机启动的速度比以前慢;
(6)扫描时有点卡机 ,不过是一时两时的事,但是扫描速度比以前快 ;
(7)监控没有V2的积极了,感觉监控文件没有以前好[个人感觉];
(8)有点影响迅雷之类下载工具的下载速度;
(9)不是很稳定.
我就只是发现这些,希望在正式版能解决这些问题,同时也是提供给想要用EES但又不知EES测试版有哪些缺点的朋友,再次希望正式版能早点出世!

* Fixed an issue with the graphic user interface not properly reporting when real-time file system protection had been disabled.

* Fixed the problem with scanning the "My Computer" object 0r individual files were checked.

* Fixed an issue with Microsoft Outlook 2007 crashing when closed.
INSTALLATION
* Fixed two issues which prevented ESET Smart Security from installing on some computers.
Several misspellings in the user interface and in the online help have been corrected as well.
Support Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP (x86), Windows Server 2003 (x86) and Windows Vista (x86). Antispam only works with Microsoft Outlook. Support for other operating systems, processor architectures and mail clients will be added in future test versions.
